Your New role :-
Seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud developer to work on our Network Digital Twin team developing Cloud-based mapping applications, primarily for the Utilities and Telecomms industries.
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
- Experience in designing and developing multi-tenant enterprise software services and components, with a focus on scale.
- Experience in developing highly robust and high throughput enterprise Cloud applications
- Experience in using node.js
- Experience in delivering cloud-based solutions using RESTful Web services and technologies such as Cloud Foundry
- Experience in the use of SQL databases in a micro-service architecture
- Experience of using server-side data processing technologies such as ELK
- Knowledge and experience of using modern DevOps practices
- A strong understanding of application architectures, with an emphasis on modern web architectures
- Knowledge of Web Security principles - OWASP
- Experience of working in Agile software development teams
Desirable Skills :-
- Experience in containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience of deploying applications in Azure or AWS
- Experience of using ES2015
- Experience of handling the ingestion and management at scale of geospatial data (or similar connected network paradigm)
- Experience in using Postgres, RabbitMQ and Redis
- Experience of working with NoSQL databases
