POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Sr. Integration Developer role is responsible for project-based integration implementations as well as mentoring team members, providing solution expertise and support of existing production integration solutions for the customer. Opportunity to work on multiple long term exciting and challenging projects with diverse Middleware technology.
FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a subject matter expert for Integration platform (MB6, IIB, IBM DataPower Appliance, and ESB) and related technologies (OBJEX, WebServices, ETL, Java)
- Lead the design and implementation of project-based integration solutions in accordance with Industry standards, the approved architecture roadmap and industry best practices
- Provide timely resolution for integration-related production issues, including root cause analysis
- Mentor other integration developers and application developers
- Create and maintain procedures and standards for the Integration team
- Develop and maintain an integration component inventory/Catalog
- Follow the change management procedures and policies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Minimum 5 years of experience with developing web services using the IBM Integration Broker (IIB, formerly Message Broker)
- Experience in WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker 6.1,7, IIB 10
- Working experience on various operating systems/platforms (Unix, Windows, Linux)
- Good Java/J2EE, JSON, JMS, XML, XSLT, XSD, SOAP, REST, WSDL development experience
- Web services design and implementation (SOAP and RESTful)
- Must have experience using data power appliance
- Knowledge of Data stage ETL tool.
- Experience in working with a distributed team (Back Office)
- Experience with a variety of operating systems and concepts including: AIX, Linux, Firewall, Certificates, Security and Active Directory
- Knowledge of various integration concepts including: Business-to-Business (B2B), platform-to-platform and EDI Trading Partner Integration development
- Understanding of IBM IHS, Load Balancers, Fail overs, https, certificates, proxies etc.
- Good knowledge and experience with Shell Scripting. Experience in solution architecture, design and development of Integration flows using MQ, Message Broker, DataPower, WS and other integration technologies.
