Proteus Europe is searching for full-stack web developers for an initial 4 month contract in Oslo, Norway.

Our Client:-
A Technical IT company who offer solutions, services and products to customers who are developing products with high IT content or who need to streamline or automate their operations.

Your New role:-

The main development focus will be making web applications and services utilizing the results from Schlumbergers Flow Assurance simulators (OLGA and PIPESIM).
SNTC Flow Assurance is using an Agile/Kanban software process with good practices as TDD, automated testing and code reviews incorporated in the process.

User story development in SNTC Flow Assurance is mostly done as verticals and the preference is therefore on full-stack developers (front- and Back End). Specific front- or Back End developers are welcome as long as you are willing to expand to full-stack.
SNTC Flow Assurance has distributed and diverse teams across a few locations, but many nationalities and cultures so good communications skills are therefore important.

Your Skills and Qualifications:-

Essential Skills:-
Web Front End skills
o HTML, AngularJS, TypeScript, Nodejs/NPM, CSS/Less, JavaScript, Bootstrap, REST, Jasmine/Mocha (testing frameworks), Protractor

- Back End skills
o HTTP/REST, Microservice architecture, Node.js/NPM, Golang, Message queue (eg ZeroMQ/AMQP), Inversion of Control/Dependency Injection, NuGet package management, C++/C#/.NET/.NET Core

o SOLID, TDD/unit test, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Test automation, Git source control, Pull requests, code reviews a la GitHub flow

- Programming experience with public clouds such as Google Cloud (preferred), Azure and/or AWS
- User management, security and identity management
- PaaS for storage, compute and applications
