SDET - C# - Hedge Fund
SDET required by Macro Hege Fund located in London to oversee the automated testing of software tools and frameworks at the firm. Currently the testing is overseen by software developers as part of the development activities, however the firm is now seeking specialists to take on this responsibility.
Day to day duties will include the following:
- Writing automated tests in C# for all levels of testing from unit to system
- Developing and maintaining specific features of software tools and frameworks to assist in automated testing
- Capture, review and report testing metrics including coverage, reliability and effectiveness
- Actively participate in the on-going review of testing and providing recommendations for continual improvement
In order to be considered for the role, our client asks for the following experience:
- Experience writing automated tests - preferably in C# - other OO languages considered
- Experience in the software testing function a firm handling the trading of financial instruments
- Experience of Microsoft development technologies preferred (C# .Net, SQL, Windows)
- Minimum 2:1 Degree in any discipline
