Data Developer
My client is an international business based in Amsterdam and a world leader in their field of Electronics. We are particularly looking for talented Data Developers with great Python skills and PL/SQL experience.
This role is English speaking
This is a long-term project expected to last 12 - 18 Months. You will be joining a world class team of Developers and Engineers working in a fantastic office in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities include:
- Defines objectives by analysing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
- Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/Intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
- Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
- Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server Scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information Servers.
- Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools.
- Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
- Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Skills include:
- Specialization in at least one of Dotnet, Java, Linux, Unix, Oracle, or SAP; certifications ideal (eg, SAP certification)
- Experience in PL/SQL
- Perl/Python,
- One of Unix/Java/Linux Scripting or other BI programming language;
- Experience in single or multiple databases such as Oracle, SAP, SQL Server or Sybase
