Functional Designer (Cobol)
One of our major client is urgently looking for a Functional Designer (Cobol) for Long term rolling contract based in Brussels, Belgium.
The Functional Designer (Cobol) will have the following skill set and experience:
* Deep knowledge of Cobol
* Deep knowledge of functional analysis and structured testing methods
* Deep knowledge of SQL/DB2
* Advanced Cobol application development on Mainframe (Online and Batch with checkpoint-restart)
* JCL
* Functional analysis and document updation
Personal Skills (Mandatory):
* Quality and detail oriented
* Flexible
* Able to work in team as well as autonomously
* Stress resistant
* Able to plan own work with respect of deadlines and budget
* Pro-active attitude
* Pragmatic & result oriented
* Good communication skills
Business experience (required):
* Working in IT organisation (5 Years) (Mandatory)
* Insurance experience (Preferable)
Technical experience required (Preferable):
* Erwin
Functional experience required (Mandatory):
* IT Solution design/functional analysis
* Relational Datamodelling
Role: Functional Designer (Cobol)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Language: Fluent in English & (Dutch or French)
Duration: 12 Months (with possibility of extension)
Start Date: 01/06/18
