Front End Developer Location: The Hague, Netherlands Duration: 5 Months + Extension Start: 5th March 2018 Rate: Market Rate Languages: English Description: Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Front End Developer for a project in The Hague, Netherlands. Tasks: The tasks to be performed by the candidate will likely include the following: • Convert the existing legacy thick client application to a modern HTML 5 based web client • Convert the existing legacy (already web based) server management interfaces (server side rendered) to a modern HTML 5 based web interface • Develop (unit / integration / e2e) tests for the new interfaces and client • Contribute to documentation and / or built in guides (through e.g. hopscotch) Qualifications: The consultancy support for this work requires a candidate with the following qualifications: 1. The candidate has at least five years of working experience in the area of Information Technology, of which at least 3 years of relevant experience with front end development 2. The candidate understands the need for testing and has experience with unit testing, integration testing end end to-end testing in a continuous integration environment. 3. The candidate is proactive and not afraid to ask questions 4. The candidate has a customer focussed attitude, sets high standards for quality and quantity; monitors and maintains quality and productivity; works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way 5. The candidate speaks and writes fluent English since the work is conducted in English 6. The candidate has a NATO SECRET security clearance, provided by the national security organization valid at the time of submission of the bid covering the period of the requirement.
