Description
My client is looking for an experienced Database Developer with Java experience and the project will be based in Ispra Italy for the European Comission.
The database developer will need to have experience in the design and development of multi-tier Java-based web applications.
In addition to the knowledge and skills implied by the profile, he/she will have an in-depth working knowledge of:
- At least one modern JavaScript framework (preferably JQuery)
- Of a persistence framework (preferably EclipseLink) and of the Java Persistence API (JPA)
- Of the Spring framework and the Java Enterprise Edition specification
- Working experience on Datamodelling and physical database design will be an advantage.
The service provider will also master the basics of:
- Build management
- Defect tracking and source code management (tagging, branching, merging)
Please note excellent English language skills required as project language will be English, any Italian Language skills an advantage although not essential.
