Cobol Developer (z/OS, DB2) - Brussels, Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH and FRENCH or DUTCH.
Skills and Experience:
- Master degree in Informatics or equivalent through experience.
- Experience in Cobol/Mainframe support role.
- Experience as a Cobol technical analyst/developer on business applications.
- Experience in Mainframe Performance Analysis/Reporting/KPI.
- Advanced knowledge & experience in Mainframe (Cobol) environment including application debugging & troubleshooting.
- Experience in supporting RDz & installation on Windows client.
- Knowledge & experience in z/Os tools & utilities (eg JCL, Rexx).
- Experience & skills in IMS (Transaction processing) & DB2.
- Experience in insurance or financial domain is desirable.
- Experience with IBM DebugTool in an IMS environment desirable.
Description of work:
- Provide support on Mainframe application development tools (debugging, troubleshooting, performance).
- Develop/maintain guidelines around Cobol development.
- Lifecycle management of the Mainframe development platform.
