Our client, one of the largest global finance companies are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer (Java, Spring Framework, Rates Spring Boot, Kafka, Akka, Hibernate)- to join an established team Information Services Technologies team within the Markets and Securities business.

In this position you will be influential in the design and development of features of functional enhancements for middle tier including the introduction of new technologies and best practices. You will be involved in the analysis and capture of requirements working closely with both the business and technology teams to definite solutions As a Senior Java Developer (Java, Applications, Linux, Spring Boot, SQL) you will be expected to conduct code and design reviews, mentor more junior members and work closely with other senior stakeholders on the project.
Requirements for this Senior Java Developer (Java, Spring Integration, Applications, Linux, Spring Boot, SQL) - Dublin
- 5-7 years Java 8 - including development of latency sensitive services and in-depth knowledge of threading & garbage collection to tune all aspects of the code's performance
- Spring (Core, Integration, Batch)
- Messaging technologies such as MQ/KAFKA/ActiveMQ
- Strong software development fundamentals, data Structures, design patterns and Object Oriented programming
- Experience working on low latency, high throughput technologies
- MVC
- Understanding of the Equities flow business
- SQL
- Unix/Linux
- Test Driven Development and unit testing with JUnit
- Spring Boot
- Kafka

- Knowledge of OO, design patterns and SOLID design principles

- Experience of 3rd line support of Front Office Sales & Trading systems
