Front End Developer (JavaScript) (HTML5) (CSS3)
A Front End Developer (JavaScript) (HTML5) (CSS3) is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative freelance assignment with a market leading client based in Den Haag.
The Front End Developer (JavaScript) (HTML5) (CSS3) will IDEALLY have 70%+ of the following skills and experience:
- HBO/WO level of education in ICT, preferably (Technical) Informatics
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with Javascript frameworks, ideally VueJS Experience with OOCSS and BEM.
- Knowledge of and experience with REST;
- Version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of Bootstrap
- Experience with Continuous Integration.
- Must be eligible to work in Netherlands
- English speaker, Dutch speakers strongly preferred
The Front End Developer (JavaScript) (HTML5) (CSS3) will be responsible for activities including:
- Supporting information analysts/designers with drafting functional and technical designs
- Contributing to impact analysis, Proof of Concepts on submitted RFCs;
- Providing input for analysis and diagnosis of issues relating to performance, security and data integrity
- Proactively submitting improvement proposals
- Translating desired functionality into robust JavaScript and CSS
- Code reviews
- Developing a responsive HTML5 Front End for the application
- Providing input for analysis and diagnosis of user experience issues; - the (inline) documentation of existing or new functionality;
- Developing on the basis of a design and a clickable prototype.
