IT Developer Engineer
I am urgently looking for a skilled IT Developer Engineer to join a long term project in Amsterdam.
Your profile
- Your key competencies: excellent team player, persistent, service oriented, customer centric, eager to learn
- You love to deep dive technology, searching for root causes of issues and incidents and to resolve them
- Master of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent field
- You love technology and naturally stay up-to-date on relevant new developments
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in creating high scalability mission-critical applications
- You are able to develop and tune efficient and maintainable code with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution
- Experience with Continuous delivery
- Good knowledge on OS fundamentals with the ability to apply it in the context of modern operating systems (eg Linux)
- You have excellent knowledge of relational databases (eg Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Knowledge of NoSQL data stores, while not mandatory, is a strong nice-to-have
- Past experience on Data Warehouse platform and understanding of complex Data Warehouse architecture to safeguard the integrity of the system
- Flexible with respect to working pattern/hours
