Senior Test Automation Engineer/Developer in Test. C#, Visual Studio, Selenium, Specflow. FTSE 100 Trading Firm. London.
Ink Recruitment's client are a FTSE 100 Financial Services business that are in the process of building (through both internal development and vendor products), an entire application architecture to meet the demands of a new trading business area. Due to huge investment and a significant number of projects, it is essential that the firm introduce an Automated approach to testing. They have 2 x vacancies for Senior/Lead Automation Test Engineers/Developer in Test to lead the introduction and implementation of their automation environment from scratch.
The successful candidates will:
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools (Selenium & Specflow with MS Visual Studio C#)
- Liaise with internal teams (eg Developers and Test managers) to build the automation framework.
- Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for manual testing.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs (VS Online/TFS)
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following skills;
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes (TFS/VS Online/Git)
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium/Specflow/WebServices automation)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Scripting in .NET C#
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
