SC Cleared DevOps Engineer - Contract - London
Square One are looking for an SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to come on board for an initial 12 month contract in London.
This is an initial 12 month contract, paying market rates.
The programme requires that all Engineers be cleared to Security Check (SC) level.
Key responsibilities
Be responsible for hardening and LUKS implementation of CentOS Servers
Experience of security best practice implementation
Demonstrable knowledge of security requirements
Manage technical delivery dependencies and raise risks and issues appropriately to the project Delivery Manager
Participate in workstream and project Scrum ceremonies
Ability to operate in small cross-functional engineering teams to build supportable, sustainable, and reliable services
Defining and implementing build pipelines and deployment processes
Required skills
The following skills are required:
Security Hardening and LUKS implementation of CentOS Servers
Good Knowledge of Linux
Implementation of hardware encryption
Fluency in Bash
Application of security best practice including hardening and intrusion detection
Desirable skills
Exposure to the following techniques, tools and platforms are desirable:
Knowledge of GNU/Linux Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CoreOS
Knowledge of configuration management tools (eg Puppet/Ansible) (N)
Solid understanding of CI and build engineering
Hortonworks, Kafka, Zookeeper, Artifactory
Jenkins
Git, Github, Gitlab
This is an initial 12 month contract, paying market rates.
