Industry Engagement Lead - Data Privacy - Digital
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Industry Engagement Lead (Contract) to work for one of the UK's leading banks in London. You'll be required to provide support the PSD2 Programme Delivery.
This role will offer the potential of a long term contract and an excellent working environment, including the ability to work from home
Candidates will support the Open Data Working Group, Data Privacy Working group and any other associated workshops or industry workgroups that may occur or be established associated with banking industry data standards.
Essential skills and experience:
- Influencing outcomes in collaborative work group and committee scenarios.
- Financial services experience in a business change environment
- Experience in evaluating or developing data standards and data definitions.
- Appreciation of Datamodelling techniques (ideally UML class based models) and an ability to interpret logical data models in business terms.
- Appreciation of digital applications in banking, their prevailing and potential uses and the technologies underpin them.
- Experience working on programmes and business initiatives involving APIs or digital data integration.
- Good appreciation or past experience of working with machine readable open standard data formats such as XML or JSON and associated schema definitions and specifications (eg YAML or SWAGGER).
- Experience working on regulatory and compliance projects, particularly working with legal colleagues to clarify regulatory and compliance implications
- Ideally candidates need to be ISO 20022 and Data protection legislation (GDPR) certified and be familiar with Digital Security protocols and standards such as OATH2.
