Description

Gazelle GLobal Consulting is looking for a service Desk Engineer.

This contract until the end of the year is located in Lyon, France to start quickly. You need to speak French fluently and to have an intermediate English. Daily rate will be depending of your experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Handling IT Asset Stock & Maintaining IT Inventory Records. 
* Escalate if issues are not resolved within timeframe 
* Create reports based on tickets. 
* Manage Desktop Devices (hardware, software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution. 
* Manage hard and soft break fix services for laptops and desktops Ex: Basic replacement (RAM, HDD, keyboard) 
* Support for Video Conferencing issues and install & Configure Videoconferencing system device. 
* First level of support to all the IP phone issues 
* Ensure that each Desktop Device is installed with the appropriate Desktop image. 
* To support the LAN and wireless network, ADSL Broadband issues. 
* Ensure all the PC's are updated with latest patch and Antivirus. 
* Provide VIP support for Desk side issues and be point of contact at the site for all IT related issues. 
* Manage Printers for any support and Follow-up with respective team for Resolution 
* Coordinate with the end user to solve the day-to-day issues.

REQUIREMENTS

* 2-3 years of experience in IT support
* Knowledge and experience on windows 7, Windows 10 OS
* Good to have - Basic knowledge and experience on ALTIRIS Tool for image management.
* Experience with Service management tool (Service now)
* Should have good expertise on EUC tools, remote support tools (TeamViewer), MS Office and GMAIL.
* Preferable to have a good understanding of VPN, and mobile device support (iPhone) like IOS, Android.
* Basic knowledge of windows Servers, Active Directory services (AD) & Networking.
* Should be aware of ITIL process of Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request and related activities like spare and buffer stock management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication (French & English).

Preferred: ITIL certification
