Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Quality Assurance/Automation Engineer for a position located in Elkridge, MD. Individual should have 7+ years of Software Testing experience with at least 3 years with test automation. Looking for someone with automation experience (not just using tools, but building automation and creating test cases/scripts). Individual should have experience working with test automation tools (Selenium). Individual will create and implement full QA life-cycle project test plans, drive tests throughout the entire SDLC and should have an understanding of where testing plays a key role within the process. Tester will be involved in majority Selenium test automation, with some manual testing as well. The selected individual will perform a variety of testing activities that include: web testing, integration testing, Black Box functional testing, regression testing, etc. Individual will also create and maintain functional, performance, stress, and endurance tests. No coding experience is required for this position, although they should have experience creating automation scripts, using a language like Java, Ruby, etc. Individual should also have process flow experience and an understanding of the user experience.
