Description
We are looking for a Bluetooth Low Energy Software Developer (m/f) in Mannheim - Germany:Main tasks:
• Responsible for designing and implementing the BLE wireless communication according to OEM requirements.
• Improving the point-to-point SPI communication between main MCU and BLE wireless MCU.
• Improving memory footprint and optimizing BLE stack.
• Ensuring compliance with the Bluetooth industry standards.
• Capturing and analyzing air trace logs using a BLE Sniffer (Frontline Protocol Analyzer).
• Defining software requirements in DOORS.
• Collaboration with System-Engineer, Software-Architect, Software Test-, Safety- and Application-Engineers.
Skills/Experiences:
• 5 years C/C++ software development experience in automotive real-time embedded platforms. Comprehensive understanding of embedded development constraints and system performance.
• 2 years Bluetooth Low Energy experience in communication profiles (GATT, GAP)
• Experience with TI CC wireless MCU is an advantage
• Experience with microcontrollers (PowerPC, ARM and 8051)
• Experience with serial data communication (CAN, I2C, SPI)
• Experience with AUTOSAR Basic-Software modules and complex device drivers
• Experience in requirements management tools like DOORS, UML
• Experience with IDE (Eclipse, Visual Studio, IAR Embedded Workbench)
• High analytical and conceptual skills / Result oriented way of working
• Fluent English is a must. Fluent in German is an advantage
