Clojure Developer
6 Month Contract
Central London
Fullstack London has an urgent requirement for an experienced Clojure Developer, to join a worldwide Media organisation based in Central London. They are currently migrating from Java to Node/Clojure and require a solid Clojure enthusiast to assist on the project.
Working in small cross-functional teams using a range of tools, this is an exciting role which will afford you full autonomy and freedom in the design of solutions. You will work on cutting-edge web and mobile technologies in friendly multi-disciplinary agile teams, using the latest open source tools and gain experience through pairing, automation, TDD and bleeding-edge agile practices.
From a technical perspective, the company are migrating from Java towards NodeJS and Clojure and they favour lightweight tools and libraries over frameworks. The tech teams share ownership of the design through to the delivery of each product, and the Clojure Developer will be contributing to the development and delivery of an in-house, cutting-edge web/mobile platform which is used across the globe.
The right Clojure Developer will have excellent knowledge (and commercial experience) using Clojure and also jQuery, CSS3, SASS/LESS, Grunt/Gulp, Bower, git, OOCSS/SMACSS, AMD, HTML5, Templates engines (Mustache/Handlebars/Jade), Responsive Design and adaptive design, Web-performance, SEO, Tracking, Progressive enhancement, Cross browser, client side JavaScript, CSS, HTML(5) and JS libraries.
