Role: Cloud Architect
Location: Helsinki, Finland
JD:
- Responsibilities Architect, design, implements distributed systems and applications with an agile team.
- Explore emerging technologies, adapt, build, benchmark technical proposals and carry out Proof of Concepts.
- Code primarily in Java and/or Python.
Required skills and experience:
- 10+ years in software development with proven experience in Server Side development, RESTful micro-services or distributed systems.
- Experience with high performance, scalable, and highly available systems.
- Experience with Public Cloud (eg Amazon AWS) and deployment automation.
- Expert level in Java/Python programming.
- Solid experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Self-driven, proactive, result oriented.
- Capable of balancing both short and long-term views and making constructive proposals to stakeholders.
Desired skills but not mandatory:
- Experience with Ansible, Mesos, Docker is a plus.
- Experience in Android development.
