South Wales - commutable from Abergavenny, Ebbw Vale, Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare, Pontypridd, Newport, Caldicot, Usk, Chepstow, Monmouth, Cwmbran, Blackwood, Pontypool and Abertillery with excellent access from Hereford, Ross-on-Wye, Cheltenham, Gloucester,

Clearance:
SC Clearance (must be willing and eligible to undergo, prior to project start date)

My client, a global Defence organisation, is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to assist with system engineering for new and Legacy products. The successful Systems Engineer will have demonstrable experience within the Defence industry and will ideally have worked within large consultancies. The role of Systems Engineer will require strong Electronics, previous experience of Design and Testing Candidates applying for the role of Systems Engineer must also have strong have prior working knowledge of electronic engineering principles, and ideally have experience within defence or munitions.
Essential skills;
- Proven background as a Systems Engineer (ideally from a background in the Defence industry)
- Previous experience of Testing
- Demonstrable experience of Design
- Extensive experience of Electronics
- Significant experience with electronic engineering principles
- Substantial experience of design or test experience
Desirable;
- Previous experience within the Defence industry would be a distinct advantage
- Experience of defence and munitions is highly desirable
