Front End Developer required for a 6 month contract based in Port Laoise
You will contribute to the development of the new Angular Front End application, and the skills required are typical contemporary Front End development skills, with a particular focus on the Angular and Material frameworks.
This is an urgent role as it will allow the team to commence the design of the new UI/workflows and progress the prototyping phase.

The Front End developer will contribute to the development of a new Angular based application, and will have the following skills:
Required:
- Expert knowledge of the Angular framework, best practices and supporting technologies - Angular5, Javascript/Typescript, JQuery, Node/NPM.
- Proven ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable Angular modules and components as required.
- Expert knowledge of good UI design and web mark-up best practice, as well as a proven ability to design and develop high quality, clean, and responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, LESS, Bootstrap and Material
- Experienced in the creation and maintenance of UI style guides
- Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills
- Excellent collaboration, analysis, knowledge-sharing and problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of and experienced in Behaviour Driven Development using Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin
- Good understanding of the full web development stack and experience in Server Side technologies - Java/REST/Spring/Weblogic
- Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, REST API consumption and JSON syntax
- Experience working in an agile development environment (Scrum), and use of supporting tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence
- Experience with an RDBMS database (Oracle 12g or higher) with good SQL proficiency.
- Experience with software version control tools such as Subversion.
- Experience with software build, quality control and deployment tools such as Apache Maven, Sonar Cube and Atlassian Bamboo,
- Professional qualification and proven software development experience.
