SDET - Hedge Fund - £ p.d.
QA Engineer (C#/Java) required by Hedge Fund in London. This QA Engineer will be responsible for creating the automated testing environment for all the company's applications from scratch. This environment may include applications covering; electronic trading, Middle Office, accounting and other Back Office systems.
QA Engineers will be required to take a smart and pragmatic to grasping the concepts without needing to know every detail of the applications. The individual in question will be tasked with ensuring that all applications to reach the rollout phase have been produced to the highest standard possible.
Requirements:
- Experience in reading, writing and executing production level Back End code, preferable C# or Java
- Previous experience with behavioural testing/development and test-driven development (TDD)
- Testing high-throughtput systems (financial data/market data)
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (Minimum 2:1)
- Good A-Levels (B,B,B and above) or equivalent
- Experience in coding with other OO languages a significant bonus
