We are looking for a z/OS specialist Software Control & Distribution for our client. The ideal candidate is flexibel and pro-actice, willing to commit to our client and has an ambitious drive to develop himself!

The role
As a z/OS specialist SC&D for Enterprise Services, you will be working closely with the DevOps teams and will make use of/be involved with the following (tools):
  • Software Control & Distribution
    IDz/RTC/UCD, Endevor
  • Batch planning & Scheduling
    IWS, Indesca
  • Autorisation and security
    RACF
We are looking for somebody with a solid understanding of the software development on IBM Mainframe.
You are able to improve the used tools for design, develop, test and implementation.
With your team responsible for control, maintenance and operation of these tools.
Maintain (Changed) tools. Set up, Manage, Ensure, document the citeria for (new) tools.

Working in accordance with ITIL. Take the lead in ITIL processes for the applications within your scope. Frequent contact with application specialists of other departments. Maintain relations with internal and external suppliers.

Requirements:
  • Higher Educational level
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience as DevOps or Technical and/or Functional application manager
  • Knowledge of z/OS, CICS, MQ, DB2
  • Solid knowledge of IDz, RTC, UCD, Endevor, JCL, TWS and RACF
  • Programming languages Cobol; REXX, Java, Groovy, Unix/Shell
  • Knowledge of Datapower, DocGen en Sonar is a pré
  • Work experience in banking and related business processes, applications and infrastructure.
  • Strong communicator
  • Dutch language is a big pré
