Role: Mainframe Developer
Detailed job description - Skill Set:
To be part of Legacy modernization program to convert Cobol programs to Java component. MF profiles should independently work on analysing the programs and provide high level insights and pseudo code inputs on existing functionalities
End to end build/enhancements and unit testing of Java components
Any exposure to cobol to Java conversion tools will be an added advantage.
MF:
- Mainframe: Cobol, JCL
- RDBMS: DB2,
- Languages: Unix Shell Scripting
- Tools: Changeman,Expediter, FileAid, Abend Aid, Quality Center, Service Center, SPUFI, QMF, Catalog Manager,
- Scheduling Tools: CA7,Control-M
- Change Management: Endevor, Changeman, ServiceNow, JIRA, Rally
Java:
Core Java, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, Spring MVC, RESTful Web Services), Spring JPA,Hibernate,PL/SQL, Junit,
Mandatory Skills:
3 Mainframe and 6 Java - as above
Duration of Hiring: 12 months
No of years' experience: 6-8 yrs+
