Description

System Engineer API Management Platform wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • 3+ years' work experience as a System Engineer or in another suitable position within the financial sector
  • Strong programming skills with expertise in Python, Perl and Java beside profound knowledge of API Management and policies
  • Proficiency to install and maintain the Axway API Gateway product
  • Excellent technical knowhow with a problem solving and analytical work approach
  • Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Developing and maintaining API's for multiple lines of business within an efficient Agile SDLC
  • Creating an API Platform that will service the entire company and its clients
  • Leading the upgrade of the DEV, QA and Production Axway API Gateway and participating in the BAU customer integration
  • Ensuring a secure infrastructure environment, production stability and performance
  • Liaising with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts and Service Managers in a rapidly evolving environment
