Ops Engineer
I am urgently looking for a skilled Ops Engineer to join my clients project in Amsterdam. This is a long term contract, starting immediately.
Your job:
- Deploy changes/releases and produce the deliverables/evidence required by several related processes (eg IT Risk, Change Control Board)
- Automate deployments as part of the continuous delivery
- Test the performance of web-applications and apply tuning
- Define dependencies with other teams and translate these to user stories
- Make sure the requirements are clear to everybody
- Support risk procedures and processes
- Configure and maintain application and monitoring
- Define and/or support chain, acceptance, performance, scalability and resilience testing
Your profile:
- You have experience in Tomcat, Linux (preferably RHEL)
- Strong knowledge in Python/Bash Scripting
- You know Continuous Delivery Tooling, like Nolio, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Maven, etc
- Basic knowledge of Java (to troubleshoot stack-traces)
- Stress-resistant with strong analytical skills
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps team is mandatory
- Proficient in Dutch and/or English
- An IT related bachelor degree
- Experience with global operations in an enterprise environment
