Microsoft BI Consultant
Leiden, The Netherlands
8 month minimum contract
For one of our clients, I am immediately looking for a BI Consultant/Application manager. With our customer, information products are realized using the Microsoft reporting stack and concern a data warehouse that is supported with a Microsoft APS platform, analysis cubes that are accessed through XLS, web reports, data feeds and dashboards in Power BI.
Activities
. Performing unit, integration and performance tests
. ETL (SSIS) developments with the already existing products
. Develop, test and implement scripts
. Performance monitoring and tuning
. Managing the management environment (OTAP street)
. Technical management and development of the management environment in our Azure environment
.
Job requirements
. You have experience as Application Manager, preferably within Azure environments
. Thorough SQL Server knowledge (2012 through 2017) is a must-have
. Knowledge and experience with PowerShell
. Knowledge of Database engine, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, DWH/BI
. General Windows Server knowledge (2012R2 up to and including 2016)
. Hands-on experience with and knowledge of ETL (processing flat files) and Data Warehouse concepts and application design principles is an advantage
Location is around Leiden
Duration is 8 months with option on extension.
