Senior Developer - Java/JavaScript
A leading Private Equity backed business requires a Senior Developer to add to the application development and data management team within the company. A number of projects are in the pipeline for with an emphasis on Open Source products and modernisation of the software development environment in line with current industry best practice.
Experience in the following (Senior Developer):
- Java
- JavaScript
- Message Brokers, eg ActiveMQ, Kafka
- Microservices and containers, eg Dockerand Kubernetes
- Modern web development frameworks such as React and Angular
The successful Senior Developer will:
- Develop and maintain solutions in support of the company's primary business
- Be responsible for a variety of functions to complete projects, including: requirements gathering, system design, application development and testing
- Participate in the new systems architecture definition and implementation
- Lead the "productionization" of the current software development environment
