Typical activities will include:

Effective communications with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Ensuring that requirements are mutually understood between stakeholders and developers.

Planning and managing Visualisation and Experimental Capabilities.

Supporting analysis of UK technology capability to conceptualise solutions in which benefit is achieved from federating extant UK technological capabilities.

Determining the specification and design of the systems, including architectures, computing infrastructure and networks, software tools and facilities - giving due consideration to the potential for long-term adaptability.

Assessing capability gaps and creating and implementing plans for their closure.

Contributing to the visualisation strategy across the target market opportunity areas.

Managing key dependencies, interfaces and ways of working across the team drawn from Industry and Academic and other Research Organisations.

Achievement will be made possible by leveraging existing investments in facilities and technologies, whilst investing in development to provide for specific capability, modelling, simulation, experimentation and demonstration needs.

Any experience in 3d modelling and Real Time simulation would be advantages.

The successful candidate will have the below skills/experience:

Knowledge of using Software/Systems as below or similar applications would be advantageous:

MAK VRForces (or JSAF, OneSAF, STAGE etc).

MAK VRVantage (or any image generator system).

MAK data logger (replay DIS simualtions).

AGI STK (high fidelity communications modelling and sensor mission planning).

Adobe Premiere (non-linear video editing).

Adobe Photoshop (image creation and photo-manipulation).

GIMP (freeware version of Photoshop).

LUA/C++ (for Scripting and minimal code development if necessary).
