Our direct client located in Macon is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Programmer Analyst with Mainframe experience using CICS, Cobol, DB2, Endeavor and JCL. This team supports a variety of high profile financial/revenue applications including both Mainframe and server platforms. Experience with .NET and SQL server are a plus, but not required. - 5+ years programming experience on integrated applications.
- Strong CICS, DB2, Cobol, JCL technical skills.
- Solid experience with related development tools including ENDEVOR and TSO.
- Strong analysis skills for problem solving as well as for creation of project artifacts.
- Working knowledge of all aspects of the project and software development life cycle, from inception to implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to learn and understand new business systems and detailed business processes.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, work independently, and yet function as an integral part of a team.
