Optimus Life Sciences are working with an international pharmaceutical company to on-board a Snr Principal Programmer with a high level of experience working on clinical trials. The position will oversee project leadership across the trial and approval of a drug product but will not be classified as a managerial role.
The client is committed to innovation and have an excellent pipeline of exciting products in development working their way through to submission. This role is ideal for someone looking to bridge the gap between high level technical skills and finding a route to an international management function.
The role will work within a matrix function and cooperate with colleagues across the globe, with some business travel required. The role can offer with partial or total homeworking - please be aware that if you based from home you may be required to travel on extremely short notice for important meetings.
Tasks Overview
- Act as a project lead programmer and as a subject matter expert.
- Ensure the timely delivery of projects based on department and portfolio requirements.
- Ensure company and department guidelines are adhered to.
- Mentor and advise junior programmers and statisticians.
- Work as a senior principal programmer for clinical trials through to submissions.
Requirements
- Master's Degree + 8 years' experience OR PhD + 5 years' experience
- Advance degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or Mathematics.
- Full knowledge of the regulatory requirements needed to submit clinical data to relevant authorities
- CRO oversight experience
- Full knowledge of CDISC, SDTM, ADaM Standards
- Ability to program in SAS
- Ability to travel for business and attend international meetings on short notice
