Main tasks:
- Design and implementation (proof of concept) of service architectures
- Collaborate with other architects to create a flexible and distributed solution landscape
- Understand and develop software platform strategy and drive the evolution of software systems towards this vision
- Enhance an architecture for a scalable and modular distributed software system based on Domain Driven Design approach
- Provide consultancy regarding the usage of technologies, methods and tools for the development team
- Responsibility for creating suitable software designs, definition of interfaces and description of the dynamic behaviour and resource usage of the software within the dedicated domain and sub-domains
- Manage non-functional requirements and support the team in their effort to build a sufficient foundation
- Constantly assess and evaluate new software architectures, technologies, methods, tools and strategies for improving efficiency and reusability together with an architecture board
Main qualifications
- Experienced in Unit Testing, Design Patterns, Domain-driven Design, Code Reviews, CI/CD, REST and Microservices
- Experienced in the respective technology stack: Angular, ASPNET.core, C#, Microsoft Azure, Application Insights
- Ability to deploy, run and monitor your solution in Microsoft Azure
- You are proactive and motivated to learn and work well within a microservice team
- Know-how in assessing and creating distributed software architectures with current frameworks or libraries in the Microsoft ecosystem
- Excellent knowledge regarding UML and object oriented programming
- Up to date on latest trends in software design and methods, ambitious regarding large-scale agile delivery products/services
- Willingness and humbleness to mentor developers and engage hands-on in development teams
- Practitioner of "clean code" practices and agile, test-driven development styles
- Large-scale refactoring and code cleanup experience a plus
- Well versed in domain modelling and domain-driven design to devise elegant solutions to complex customer needs
