Systems Analyst - Edinburgh - Financial Services - Investment Management - Contract - 6 months - Up to £475
Role: Systems Analyst
Location: Edinburgh
Rate: Up to £475
Duration: 6 months
My highly respected Investment Management client urgently requires a contract systems analyst to join their existing IT Department.
The successful candidate will have experience of the following:
- SQL Querying (of MS SQL Databases) - Strong SQL Skills are a necessity
- Software Development Life Cycle
- Project Management Methodology (Waterfall/Agile)
- Experience of working within an Investment Management company
The following skills would be desirable but not essential:
- Ability to logically understand the following technologies in order to specify functional/technical requirements:
- Markit EDM (CADIS)
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- NET
- Thinkfolio - Front/Back End Experience
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree or post-graduate level, preferably with a focus on an IT related discipline, science, maths or economics.
Has experience undertaking systems analyst activities within an investment management organisation.
