Description

The Digital Engineering team is looking for exceptional Front End developers. In this position, you will be assigned to the Weekly Sales and Stock Intake (WSSI) product. WSSI is used by allocators and planners to put the right product in the right store at the right time. The implementation uses modern technologies including Node, React and webpack. It is deployed on AWS. You will expand the product to support all of our European retail business and eventually the globe in a secure fashion. You must be self-driven, handle ambiguity and expect challenges.

Qualifications

  • Expert level JavaScript
  • Node.js
  • Deep testing knowledge with experience in frameworks such as Karma, Chai Sinon and nightwatch.
  • Understand the difference between unit, functional and exploratory testing
  • React/Redux code running in production
  • Experience with build tools like webpack, babel, rollup, etc and why you and when would use them
  • Deep knowledge of HTTP including headers, statuses, verbs, etc.
  • Understand the difference between an API and an SDK
  • You not only know what RFC and ISO are, but have used them on a team
  • CSS + CSS2, including cross-browser compliance
  • Experience with browser APIs, including a working knowledge of event life cycles and performance optimization (SPA performance a plus)
  • Enjoy the creative process of this profession
  • Feel at home on the command line
  • AWS skills a plus
  • Docker experience a plus
  • Jenkins experience a plus
  • Open API 2
  • Experience with CI and CD tools and processes
  • Distributed source control
  • Experience with Functional Programming concepts
  • Fluent in English
