Are you a technically strong developer who is experienced with building distributed and scalable applications? Are you interested in the Front Office Trading field, particularly around Structured Products? If yes, then this could be the ideal Scala Developer job for you.
The client is a Zurich based FinTech startup whose product and goal it is to make Structured Products available for everyone and to create a Mass Market for them. They consider themselves a Bank but consider technology to be a key enabler to of their business. Their developers use cutting edge technology around Functional Programming and all come from senior backgrounds.
Technically, you are expected to have good knowledge of Scala and Java, along with a good understanding of Data Structures and algorithms. Furthermore, you should have experience with the implementation of APIs and ideally have some knowledge around Cloud technologies such as Docker or AWS. More generally speaking, you should be interested in the latest development trends around reactive and Functional Programming.
