Consultant BO DS - Brussels - 3 years contract
One of our client is currently looking for a BI BODS consultant for a long term mission. The day rate is negotiable.

Function: BI Senior Developer
Required availability: Full-time
Mission start date:
Mission duration: 3 years, with the option to stop the contract each 3 months, with one months' notice
Working hours: 5 days from Monday until Friday (7h36 per day)
Languages: Good knowledge of Dutch or French.
Capable of writing documentation in English
Mission/function description:
The consultant's main tasks will consist in assisting the client Business Intelligence specialists with:
- Implementation of ETL-processes based on BODS for the client Datawarehouse
- Knowledge transfer to the client Business Intelligence specialists on BODS, including advice on best practices.
Experience
- At least 3 years Experience with dimensional Datamodelling techniques and datawarehouse design
- At least 3 year Experience with analysing & developing SAP BI Platform universes and reports
- In depth knowledge and at least 3 years' experience with Business Objects Data Services (BODS) 4.2 SP06 or later.
- Experience with end user support for BO reporting
- Experience as BI Analyst
- In depth knowledge of relational database systems and writing performant query's, with at least 3 years' experience with SQL Server.
- Experience in a large enterprise, treating large volumes of data and writing performant query's is considered as an advantage.
- The chosen candidate will also act as a coach towards the client Business Intelligence specialists and should as such have good communication skills.

- Business Objects Data Services (4.2 SP06 or higher)
- Working with relational databases and writing performant SQL instructions for Microsoft SQL server
- Working with relational databases and writing performant SQL instructions for Oracle
- Dimensional Datamodelling
- SAP Business Objects BI Platform Universe/Report design (4.2)
