An opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious organisations in the world based in Dubai has arisen for an initial 3 Month Contract. The aim is to map the as is application architecture details (including interfaces) of the existing systems and to map them against business capabilities. Candidates will need to have a thorough experience in application architecture, designing and documenting application and interface architectures. Candidates should also have experience in modelling application architecture using various ArchiMate diagrams and notations. Sparx Enterprise Architect tool experience is desirable.
Knowledge/Skills
. Experience in the development of distributed, mission critical applications in heterogeneous environments/architectures for multi-user systems
. Experience of detailed business system architecture and design
. Preferably technical leadership and architecture experience
. Should have thorough experience in application architecture area, designing and documenting application and interface architectures.
. Should have experience in conducting architectural gap analysis and preparation of target state identification.
. Experienced in mapping business capabilities and services to system and technology components
. Should have experience in modelling application architecture using various ArchiMate diagrams and notations. Sparx Enterprise Architect tool experience is desirable
. Understanding of solution technologies such as Java/TPF/Oracle/BI/DW/
. Understanding of TOGAF, Zachman and other Enterprise Architecture frameworks
Job Description
. Lead the architecture assessment of the existing applications along with the architecture team
. Identify the conceptual, logical, physical and information architecture of the systems and document them into the architecture repository
. Map the business capabilities and services to system and technology components and document the same
. Model the architectural details using various ArchiMate diagrams and notations and populate the Sparx Enterprise Architect repository
. Model the detailed interfacing and deployment architecture of the applications under scope.
. Conduct architectural gap analysis, identify opportunities for rationalization and consolidation and identify the target state architecture and roadmaps
. Should have experience in modelling application architecture using various ArchiMate diagrams and notations. Sparx Enterprise Architect tool experience is desirable
