Software Test Engineer

My client is looking for a Software Test Engineer to technically lead test automation efforts through all stages of the application development life cycle, including early automation.
You must be a competent software engineer in test with sound quality assurance knowledge and development skills, who will set up the environment and assist Test Engineers for automated tests to be created.
Your key activities will be:
- To be responsible for the Quality/Test Creation strategy and product health.
- To ensure tools, patterns, TDD and BDD story writing are being used correctly and efficiently.
- To analyze code review reports and development quality to make sure best practices are being followed.
- To ensure deployment and configuration quality.
- To ensure device/browser compatibility.
- To write page objects for tests.
You must have experience and knowledge of current Java or .Net technologies and methodologies, and hands-on experience in the following:
- Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Business-Driven Development (BDD) (Story writing)
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Test Automation
- Page objects
- Maven
- jBehave
- Spring
- Selenium webdriver
- Selenium Grid
- SOAP/Rest Webservices
- Versioning (SVN/GIT)
- Continuous Integration (Bamboo, Jenkins, GO)
- Sonar
An understanding of the following would also be advantageous
- QA Management Tools (eg Jira, HP Quality Center)
- Splunk
