Description

SCA/Identity/Authentication/Security Systems Consultant/Architect

A major global financial services institution are in the early process of implementing a SCA and identity/authentication solutions so this could be a long-term role. To that end, they are looking for someone with strong technical and analysis skills who will work with existing team members to deliver an upgraded SCA and associated Identity risk solution.

The successful candidate would be working alongside an existing IT Security architect so the candidate must be pragmatic and at times be able to work with minimal direction. You must be someone who is risk aware and security minded with experience in deploying security solutions in the financial industry/fintech preferably around SCA and identity.

The role will involve:

Design of the SCA solution

Overseeing the SCA solution implementation including architecture, authentication methods, etc

Contribute to the creation and amendment of security policies and processes

Working with both external vendors and internal teams. The role will form part of the dedicated central project team made up of 10 resources, each with their own core product responsibilities - SCA being one, and this sits atop of the wider project team consisting of around 35 resources who will contribute as required covering everything from infrastructure services, integration, reporting, testing etc.

To be considered for this role you will need the following:

Ideally the candidate would have a good understanding of the security risks and associated solutions for both a) electronic banking services, and b) external API services (both of these would be ways for our customers to connect to the company from the outside world).

Although you don't need to have a detailed knowledge of API REST/SOAP calls per-se, you should have experience of OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCA token management and policy configuration.

A working understanding of common integration solutions and methods including MQ is expected but you don't need to be a Middleware expert.

Strong overview (preferably detailed) knowledge of authentication and identity risk solutions in the marketplace. Preference will be given to those candidates who are familiar with Vasco's product portfolio.
