An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an emerging Data Performance company based in Central London. As a Senior Python Engineer you will need extensive experience coding in Python AND at least another main coding language.
You will be working closely with he Data Science and Data Analytics teams to create frameworks and libraries use as a tool to impact other businesses.
This is a 6-12-month contract for a Senior Python Engineer to join a growing engineering team who are learning to deeply understand the Data Science and Data Engineering process.
As a Senior Python Engineer you will:
Have strong Computer Science and Software Engineering foundations
Comfortable coding / developing in PYTHON and at least one other programming language.
Familiar with basic software engineering patterns and multiple programming paradigms such as. functional programming, OOP
Experience in developing and designing medium -sized projects, preferably libraries or frameworks
Be a strong advocate of Lean and Agile principles
Desirable requirements:
Have experience with contributing to open-source projects (bonus points)
Have experience with developing data-driven pipelines and big data frameworks
