Description:
For a new project at a client in the utilities sector, we are looking for an experienced GIS solution architect/Senior developer. The client is tasked with setting up a new all cloud-based GIS and SAP platform and a complex integrated solution on that platform. Confirmed technologies include Esri ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6, SAP S4/HANA and SAP analytics.
Required technical expertise:
-At least 5 years of experience with GIS technologies, and an expert level experience with the Esri suite of products.
-Proven experience with the set up and configuration of the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise platform in a role as solution architect and/or senior developer.
-Experience with GeoCortext Essentials is a plus.
-Experience in software engineering and development, either .NET based or Java based. Ideally, your experience is in web based development and you have strong skills in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, JSON, REST.
-Good understanding of technical networking concepts and infrastructure knowledge (solution sizing, virtualization, network security, authentication, ) -Knowledge and some experience of SQL and (spatial) RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL or SAP HANA Spatial -Proven experience blueprinting and shaping a software solution, detailing information architecture, application architecture and infrastructure architecture, and integration of different systems (GIS, ERP, ECM) -Experience with implementation planning and estimating is a plus.
Other requirements:
-Innovative spirit; hands-on exposure to new technologies and trends is a big plus.
-Fluency in written and spoken Dutch, and working knowledge of English.
Initial period foreseen for September-December 2018; extensions might be possible.
