We are looking for L2 / L3 Application Support Engineer (m/f) for our client in Wolfsburg, Germany
L2 / L3 Application Support Engineer (m/f)

Job Description :
• Experience in mainframe technologies like :
o Primary skills - COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, IMS DB/DC, MQ Series
o Secondary skills – DFSORT, Easytrieve, Knowledge of RVS, Dialog + will be added advantage.
• Analyzing and solving Incidents and Problems i.e. L2/L3 issues in mainframe Z/OS environment.
• To provide Work Around for issues / job failures in various applications in Support Environment.
• To perform investigation and implement permanent solution for external & internal problems as a part of L3 support.
• Performing regular back-end activities also health checks for applications.
• Communicate with customer and internal teams to provide updates on production issues and resolution plan
• Excellent communication skills in both German & English Languages.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and to ensure smooth workflow
• Ability to work independently and to aggressively seek ways to improve and help others to improve
• Exposure and working with VW mainframe systems and environments would be added advantage
