The Senior Java Developer will IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% of the following skills:
- The profession of engineer is in your genes, you continue to amaze and are constantly looking for opportunities to improve.
- You take the initiative to come up with improvement proposals (not only from your own expertise)
- You work together and help others within your squad to be successful
- You are flexible and able to work in different combinations of squads if necessary
- Actively asks for help and feedback, but you also dare to give feedback.
- Your personality can be described with words such as technology, ownership, team player, innovative, pro-active, flexible, customer- and solution-oriented.
- Good functional knowledge of financial applications and products such as mortgages.
- Experience with the implementation of package solutions within large organizations.
- Reasonable knowledge of Java or another object-oriented programming language.
- Knowledge of test automation (preferably Java/Selenium) and the ability to independently build automatic tests.
- Because you will operate in a predominantly Dutch-speaking environment (users, system and documentation), understanding the Dutch language is a must.
The Senior Java Developer will perform the following responsibilities:
- Resolving Incidents and problems within the application process/systems.
- Analysing business questions and translating into functional/non-functional requirements for the package supplier.
- Thinking/elaborating changes, adjusting the workflow and business loops within the Topicus Force Framework.
- Test changes in releases using an automated test framework (Java/Selenium). Build and implement the test framework of new test scripts and manage the existing regression test scripts.
- Building new APIs and linking the Force Framework.
