Description
A senior Performance Testing Lead is required to lead and drive the delivery of the Performance Engineering and Testing agenda into the growing number of cross-functional teams within Product Engineering with a Croatia based Fintech client. The role will also supplement the continuing evolution of performance engineering capabilities within MPSI and to embed performance engineering and testing processes, tooling and experience into cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation and adoption of NFRs and the performance engineering strategy, processes, tools and techniques across onsite teams
- Lead onsite performance engineering resources and facilitate resource allocations for assigned projects and teams based on demand
- Provide 'hands on' expertise and support to Embedded performance engineers in delivery of performance engineering, testing and tuning activities
- Ensure ongoing awareness of performance engineering challenges around new technologies within onsite teams and drive delivery of appropriate solutions
- Contnually create and improve a number of intenral and industry standard performance test frameworks, tools and utilities
- Driving force in resolving performance defects and tacking complex performance chanllenges
- The ability to demomstrate the value of performance testing to senior staekholders and clients
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Performance Test across the full application stack, including, web services/Middleware, UI, APIs, DataBases and Legacy
- Experience in deploying two or more of the Performance tool stacks available in the marketplace, and defining/recommending frameworks for use.
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems development methods, techniques and processes for Web Services, Mid-range Mainframe platforms, Card personalization and Transaction processing systems,
- Developed IT architecture development skills,
- Working knowledge in relevant systems analysis, development and project management methods,
- Extensive knowledge of card business technology and process,
- General knowledge and usage of IT resources.
- 10+ years of current Performance Test/Engineering-related experience, with demonstrated success in multiple contexts and tooling.
- Experience should include a diversity of technologies, preferably in both packaged and custom-developed applications.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with internal management team and external clients using strong leadership and communication skills.
- University degree in information technology or adequate professional education and business experience.
