Software Engineer for Office Automation

Perm/Contract: Freelance Contract

For our client an international bank in Vienna, we are looking for a Software Engineer for Office Automation.

Your tasks

- Automating and Improving business processes for financial reporting

- Writing VB- and C#-code for MS Office tools (MS Access, MX Excel)

- Creating and improving SQL queries for MS Access and SQL-Server

- Documenting and testing the developed software components

- Working together with the business users to improve and automate reporting process

Your qualifications

- 3?5 years professional experience in application development

- Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)

- Excellent .NET programming skills (C#, VBA)

- Excellent SQL- and database-know-how (MS Access, MS SQL-server)

- Very good know-how of MS Office tools (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word)

- Experience in automation solutions and tools (Blueprism, Jacada automation, OpenSpan)

- Experience in finance & banking area is a plus

Soft Skills

- Agile mind-set, pro-active attitude and team orientation

- Excellent communication skills in a multi-cultural environment

- Very good command of English (mandatory). German is a plus
