Senior Platform Engineer - SaasContract
Home-based/London Office
Our broadcast media client based in Central London is looking to onboard an experienced Backend Developer to support for SaaS Platform development.
Skills required:
- Backend development
- Java8
- SpringBoot framework
- Cassandra (Datastax) with Solr
- ElasticSearch
- Understanding of TV metadata interfaces and exchange formats (e.g. TV Anytime XML interfaces)
- Expertise in Linux OS and Linux containers (Docker is big plus)
- Understanding of distributed system design and different architectural tradeoffs
- experience in using public cloud platforms GCP or/and AWS
- experience in using cluster based deployment via Kubernetes or Mesos
- Experience in building fault-tolerant resilient distributed systems in the cloud under heavy load.
