Main tasks:
- Take the ownership of release management for Internet of Things application software
- Management of the whole software development release lifecycle, from planning the release timeline in collaboration with partners till deployment to the target systems
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Full responsibility of seamlessly rolling out quality application software to customers
- Oversee the tracking of release KPIs as a basis for leadership steering
- Plan the risk management in the domain of release management
Main qualifications
- Master degree in business information technology, information systems, computer science or business with a focus on software/IT
- Experience in release management for Cloud-based customer facing web and mobile applications, ideally in an Internet of Things setup
- Excellent knowledge of agile development methodologies (eg. Scaled Agile Framework – SAFE) and process modelling
- Good experience in applying DevOps methodologies in complex microservice environments
- Solid understanding of deployment procedures and the underlying CI/CD tools (eg. gitlab, ansible)
- Fluency in English
