My client a leading consultancy is seeking System Developer to join their team.
As the System Developer you will be responsible for connecting to a Code migration project where an external company assists automatic migration of millions of lines of Pascal source code to C++. Secondly you will be responsible migrate a critical Legacy system.
Key skills and experience
*Detailed experience as a System developer.
*Experience from large Legacy applications in complex system landscapes is needed.
*Knowledge of the following technologies in the current solution is appreciated and will get you up to speed quicker: OpenVMS, DCL Scripting, DecForms, OracleRDB.
*Experience from Continouos Integration and Continouos Deployment is valuable.
*System development in C/C++ - Expert Level
*Open to work in an agile team consisting of experts and more junior developers following the scrum methodology - Expert Level
*Experience migration project which changes coding language, operating system and database. - Expert Level
*Waterfall exposure.
