What youll be doing...
Overview
The Engineering Team is looking for a highly technical, Senior Adobe AEM Developer to help us develop our next generation of digital experience. The Developer will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to build the next generation of our digital experience. We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on coder who thrives in a fast paced environment. The engineer not only understands coding but also has a strong sense of architecture, deployment and operational skill.
Responsibilities
Be involved in all stages of development, from product ideation through architecture and execution.
Ensure technical issues are quickly resolved and implement strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
Daily collaboration with designers and researchers.
Create programming style guides for modular interface elements in partnership with Front End Engineers.

Minimum qualifications
Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. 4 or more years of relevant work experience. Rapidly iterate on product and platform features by quickly understanding requirements and producing good quality code
Strong Web Programming skills: Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
Knowledge of best practices for A/B test platform and performance optimization of AEM for both content delivery and page performance. Knowledge of using AEM in a cloud environment like Adobe Cloud, AWS, or other
Strong knowledge of creating REST Web Services.
Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge in responsive web design, and cross-browsers compatibility and DevOps environment and working with CI/CD methodologies.
Exceptionally self-motivated, solid interpersonal skills and a good communicator.
Extremely detailed oriented, committed to excellence and takes pride in the code you write.
Excellent problem solving skills, willingness to take ownership and risks, and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges.
Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization, information security vulnerabilities and risk management.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in Content Management Systems and experience working with Adobe Marketing Cloud tools including Experience Manager.
Experience with designing and building AEM components and working with JCR, AEM workflows.
Experience with Front End frameworks such as Angular, React, and Bootstrap.
Experience with large scale, high volume E-commerce websites, and Responsive design techniques.
Experience in customization of AEM content management platform and implementation of streamlined workflow to achieve operational effectiveness in catalog and offer management.
Experience in development of content as a service, asset as a service capabilities on top of the AEM platform to achieve content re-use across multiple channels such as web, mobile, native and other cutting edge digital devices.
